Class Description:
There will be a ROAP Certificate course in Denver, Colorado in conjunction with the National HBPA Summer Convention at the Denver Hyatt Downtown on August 5-6. This course is an entry level course open to anyone and is geared toward those interested in becoming a racing official or just want to learn more about the racing office. The cost to participate is $25 which includes lunch on one day. Paypal (link below) and check/money order are acceptable. 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Lunch (Provided)
- Continuation of in-depth training of all racing official positions
- Addiction education and alcohol / drug related procedures
- Public speaking, in the context of a commission hearing
- Brief assessment
