State Steward-Illinois

This is an employment position with the State of Illinois. Candidates have the opportunity to work both the Thoroughbred and Standardbred race meets, but must qualify as a Thoroughbred Steward.

Monitor and regulate all live races for compliance
Adjudicate potential violations and report race activity
Coordinate with other race officials prior to the start of the daily race program
Work with staff to ensure equine health and compliance
Perform other duties as required
