Ohio State Test Barn veterinarian

The Ohio State Racing Commission is seeking to contract a State Test Barn veterinarian starting May 8, 2024, through September 15, 2024, at the Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs in Columbus, Ohio. An Ohio veterinary license is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the collection of post-race blood samples, supervising veterinary assistants that collect urine, and ensuring that chain of custody procedures are followed. Racing at Scioto is 5 nights a week, mostly Tuesday through Saturday. The usual post-time is 5:45 p.m.
